Description

Attention: This is NI KONTAKT instrument, so you need full version of KONTAKT (at least version 5.5.2) to run it.

However, this library contains index WAVs in separate folders for each of tank drums if you don’t have (or need) KONTAKT.

Here you will find two models of high-end 8 notes Tank Drums (also known as Steel Tongue, Hapi or Hank Drum) of different sizes.

All were recorded with high-end condenser (Sennheiser MKH 8040/30) and contact (Barcus Berry 4000) stereo mics. Also, the use of five round-robins and three layers of velocity producing human-alike feel.

All instruments are built on the same KONTAKT engine with many useful controls: instrument gain, AD envelope, low-pass filter with resonance, chorus, reverb, delay and three-band equalizer.
