‘Water Streams One’ is the first library in my ‘Water Streams’ series that explores the bubbly and roaring sounds of rapids, rivers and streams found all around Finland.

The library consists of 19 unique sounding locations ranging from large rapids to tiny streams.

Most of the content was recorded in quiet Northern Finland locations and I even visited the Oulanka National Park to record its famous large roaring rapids.

Due to challenging and hard to access locations I decided to record the library with portable Sony handheld recorders utilizing ORTF and XY techniques.

The average length of each file is between 2-4 minutes so you can easily create your own loops for video games and other media.
