This pack contains 501 unique sound files that offer an arsenal of 13 different weapons, including: Assault Rifles, Semi-automatic Rifles, Bolt-action Rifles, Machine Guns, Submachine Guns, Heavy Machine Guns, Automatic Cannons, Pistols, Aircraft / Anti-aircraft weaponry.
Each weapon has multiple ‘flavors’ or sound aesthetics resulting from different microphone sources being mixed into distinct variations, making The Gun Locker the right tool whether you need to design a single gun shot or create an entire battlefield of destruction. Also included are many reloading, cycling, cocking, pump-action, bolt-action, clip loading, impact, and handling sounds.

Gear Used: A massive arsenal of professional recording equipment was involved in the creation of this collection. Up to 17 mics, including 2 decca tree configurations, stereo pocket mics, stereo decay mics, multiple impact mics, etc. were used simultaneously to capture these loud and aggressive gun shots as well as the more subtle sounds of shells dropping, impact hits, and bullets ricocheting. Each microphone was recorded onto an isolated track across multiple Sound Devices field recorders at 24bit / 96kHz before being processed in a ProTools HD environment.
Microphones from the following manufacturers were utilized for these recordings: Schoeps, Neumann, Sennheiser, Sanken, AKG, Shure, Audio-Technica.
