Welcome to the first comprehensive collection of BMX extreme sport riding sound effects. Diverse environments, surfaces, obstacles and bikes are at your fingertips now.

Captured at 192 kHz 24 bit high resolution with a gear such as ultra-bandwidth Sanken CO100K microphone, the files are ideal source for awesome slow motions, as well as for realistic and creative sound design in general.

The library is basically divided into Big Ramps and Street Freestyle folders.

Big Ramps – mostly recorded indoor, in a hall full of wooden ramps and obstacles. You will find not only expected sounds of riding ramps, jumps and lands, but also many other effects such as wheel bumps, skids, brake squeaks, bike crashes, etc.

Recorded at Sound Devices 788 and Sennheiser MKH 416, 192/24, mono.

The “indoor” named tracks involve a decent amount of reverb.

The bikes in this folder have a driver buzzing setup.

Street Freestyle – an even larger folder dedicated to outdoor spots of magic city of Prague. From gravel roads to smooth skatepark surfaces, you can go for many variations of general jumps, lands, grinds, continual rides, pass-bys, skids or wall rides.

This time recorded at Zoom F8 recorder, Sanken CO100K + Sennheiser MKH30 (when MS) microphones, 192/24. All the tracks were marked as M – mono, or MS – stereo. With MS stereo files, you can easily set up or automate your native stereo width – or just grab the left channel for pure mono.

These bikes are without driver rattling buzz sounds.

Sometimes you can feel the city ambience, but always in a decent way.

Old Archive – rather a bonus folder with a few older recordings. Try another rides and tricks.

These sounds came from Nagra IV analog tape recorder and Sennheiser ME 66 shotgun mic, 48/24.

Some of the sounds were used in the fabulous “Red Bull Berry Routines” video spot.
